Return and Exchange

We want you to be completely satisfied with what you've ordered. Please follow the directions below if you decide to return and/or exchange your product. All products returned must be 100 percent complete and contain ALL original manufacturer boxes with the original UPC code and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories, and any other documentation included with the original shipment. Shipping charges on returned items are the customer's responsibility.

DOC Development will accept all responsibility for shipping charges (both ways) on exchanged defective items within 30 days of purchase. Please request a return shipping label and one will be emailed to your account. For your protection, we strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage . Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery.

Please refuse damaged merchandise from any carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record. This will make certain that DOC Development accepts responsibility for your damaged merchandise. Save the merchandise, the original box, and the package in which it arrived. Please keep all packing material and documentation in the event that your equipment has to be serviced or returned.

Notify DOC Development immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pickup of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify DOC Development of damaged goods within the first 15 days of arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions. Contact Customer Relations at 1-855-509-1501, or by emailing and an account manager will arrange for carrier inspection and a pickup of damaged merchandise.

Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns, of any type, will be accepted without an RMA number. Please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA number: customer name, invoice (or order) number, serial number and nature of the problem.

All defective products except (wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts) will be accepted by DOC Development, Inc for credit or exchange at DOC Developments discretion within 30 days from the invoice date.

All defective wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts will be accepted by DOC Development for repair or replacement only, at DOC Development's discretion within 30 days from the invoice date. After 30 days, the manufacturer's warranty applies.

Some non-defective products may be returned for credit or exchange. Those returns authorized by DOC Development are subject to a re-stocking fee of up to 25%, and must be completed within 30 days of the date of invoice.

All products to be returned must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date, 100% complete, in resalable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.

There will be a 25% restocking fee charged to the customer account on all returns unless damage is present. Customers will be charged for shipping fees associated with unauthorized returns that have to be redirected to DOC Development warehouse.


All returns must be authorized by the Customer Service Department and must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Simply call us at 1-855-509-1501 to obtain an RMA Number or start a return online. No returns, of any type, will be accepted without an RMA number. Please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA number: Customer name, Invoice number, serial number and the nature of the problem. It is important that the RMA number is clearly written on the outside of the box. Packages received without an RMA number will be returned to you or will not be refunded since packages without RMA number are difficult to trace.

If you paid for the purchase with a Credit card or Paypal, your account will be credited back the amount of the purchase once the product has been received and checked by our staff. If you paid with a check or money order, allow 10-14 days to receive your refund check from the time we receive the returned product.

On all product returns, you are responsible for arranging shipment of the product back to the appropriate DOC Development warehouse. You may use UPS, FedEx, or any other ground parcel carrier of your choice. Please make sure that your package has a tracking number and can be tracked online. Once again, insuring the package for your protection is recommended.

If you are returning an item that is defective or shipped in error by, we apologize for your inconvenience. We will issue you a complete refund, plus pay the cost to ship the product back to us.

All Refunds are processed within 30 days, once the returned product has been received at our warehouse in re-salable condition. Please note that shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
